How to request an alarm monitoring certificate

Noonlight will issue central alarm monitoring certificates to users who have intrusion, smoke/fire, or other sensors to detect common hazards integrated into the Noonlight platform for monitoring and response to signals from those sensors.

The certificate may qualify homeowners and renters to receive a discount (typically 10 - 20% depending on the hazards being covered and sophistication of the system) on their homeowner or renters insurance.

Before issuing the certificate, Noonlight requires that users disclose the smart home or other sensor manufacturer being integrated and confirm the connectivity to Noonlight with a test alarm (be sure to have your Noonlight PIN in mind so you can cancel the alarm when we contact you). This allows Noonlight to ensure that the signal is being received correctly and the location of the alarm matches the monitored location reported by the user.

To request an alarm monitoring certificate, please send us a message (click the blue chat bubble in the bottom right corner) with the following information:

  1. Name

  2. Address of monitored location

  3. Phone number

  4. Device or sensor (e.g., SmartThings)

  5. Date and time of test alarm
