How does the widget work?

Use the Noonlight widget to quickly get help without needing to unlock your phone.

How the iOS Widget Works

Trigger an alarm

To send help to your location, just tap the corner of the "Send Help" button to "unlock" the widget, and then tap "Send Help". An alarm will be triggered, and a live agent will text and call you to ask about your emergency. If you confirm you need help or don't respond, the agent will dispatch first responders to your location.

Note: Unlike using the Hold Until Safe button inside the Noonlight app, there's no 10-second countdown after tapping Send Help.

Cancel an alarm

If you don't need help, just tap the "Cancel" button on the widget. You'll be taken into the Noonlight app where you can enter your PIN to cancel the alarm.
